Does a good score mean my site is legally compliant?
No. Automated checks find many common problems, but not all of them. Some requirements need a person to review. Use the score as a starting point, not a certificate.
Which standard do you test against?
WCAG 2.0 and 2.1, levels A and AA, using Google Lighthouse, which is built on the open-source axe-core engine. EN 301 549, the standard referenced for the EAA, builds on WCAG 2.1 AA.
Who does the EAA apply to?
Most businesses selling products or services online to consumers in the EU, including sellers based outside the EU. Microenterprises have a limited exemption for services. Check your own situation with a qualified adviser.
